While we were visiting family in Arizona recently we had a lot of fun learning about the desert environment and all the animals that inhabit them.  While we were there one of the many learning opportunities was visiting the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum.  We learned about how plants and animals cope with the desert extremes, watched a live raptor show, and identified many different kinds of plants and animals.  After the long cold winter we were excited to start planting our spring garden starts.  Clarity wants to take on more work this year in the garden so I hope it can be a fun thing this summer.  I'm planning on making and keeping a garden journal with Clarity that records the specifics of this gardening season, it will be a good reason to draw and get some writing practice this summer.
